Homes in Catherine Farmer are COMING SOON!
“When looking at all the communities who’ve reached out to us, Conrad stood out as a place young families love, and businesses want to invest in building up. Surrounded by great people and great schools, we’re really excited to get started on our first community east of I-80!” said Matt Daniels, Director of Operations for Origin Homes.

Frequently Asked Questions What is wrong with the current clinic? Can it be renovated? The current clinic building is outdated, cannot accommodate modern healthcare amenities and does not have enough square footage for the number of providers and staff needed to serve the community. The building holds a lot of memories, but a new clinic is necessary. Why are you moving the clinic out of downtown? UnityPoint Health received a generous donation of land for a future clinic site and is honoring the intent of that gift. Building a new clinic on that land also lowers the overall cost of the project. What is the total cost of the project? $3.5 million. What is the building project timeline? Groundbreaking is scheduled for spring 2025, and the clinic is estimated to open by the end of 2025. Is UnityPoint Health a for-profit business? No. UnityPoint Health is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. What will happen to the current building? The building will be listed for sale. What additional services will this clinic bring to the Conrad community? More clinic space will accommodate the addition of virtual specialty services to eliminate the need for travel to see certain specialists. Lab and x-ray equipment will also be updated. Overall, care will be delivered in a more convenient, comfortable and efficient manner. What is UnityPoint Health investing into this project? UnityPoint Health is investing $2.5 million toward construction along with a commitment to better serve the Conrad community. Will additional providers and staff be hired? New hires are not expected, but with the recent addition of a third full-time provider at the clinic, staff will be able to work more effectively and efficiently at the new clinic. Will the three providers all see patients full time in Conrad after the building is complete? Yes. The new clinic will have space to accommodate three full-time providers. Will there be greater availability of appointment times at the new clinic? With space to accommodate three full-time providers, we anticipate this will result in more timely access for appointments and other healthcare needs.
